Protocol Details

zactrack can send and receive a variety of protocols. Below you can find the details of each one including transport layer, port, available IP address and any additional Information.

You can configure individual protocol details such as port numbers and update rates in the System Settings dialog in the zactrack App. For more information go to this page.

Transport Layer -UDP - Multicast

Standard Port - 5568

IP Addresses 192.168.x.x, 169.254.x.x, 10.x.x.x

Additional Information 

zactrack can work and handle Universe based priority levels and uses LTP (Latest Takes Precedence) when receiving sACN universes from multiple sources with the same priority.

Transport Layer - UDP Broadcast

Standard Port - 6454

IP Addresses 2.x.x.x, 10.x.x.x

Additional Information 

zactrack supports Art-Net 1, 2. Art-Net is a royalty free protocol developed by Artistic License

Standard UDP Port 56565

Additional Information 

PosiStageNet or PSN is an open protocol developed by MA Lighting and VYV Corporation

Open Sound Control (OSC) is a protocol used for communication between computers, sound synthesizers, and other multimedia devices.

Standard Port - 7777

IP Addresses 192.168.x.x

Additional Information 

zactrack can send relative or absolute XYZ coordinates, ranges or grid point Information via OSC.
