The latest zactrack software release introduces powerful new features and key improvements. The Web Monitor now supports live control of zactrack parameters for Actors, Fixtures and the Show, with a responsive interface optimized for all devices and full sync across multiple instances and the App. A new I/O Monitor provides real-time visibility into sACN, Art-Net, OSC, PSN, and tracking data for easier troubleshooting. The updated navigation and layout in the Web Monitor enhance the integration of live monitoring, diagnostic tools, and system maintenance.
Live Controls in the Web Monitor
New in this release
The Web Monitor has received a major upgrade - now offering live control of zactrack parameters for Actors, Fixtures and the Show. Its responsive user interface is optimized for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and PCs, providing fast, intuitive access to all control channels. Live Controls remain perfectly in sync across multiple Web Monitor instances and the zactrack App, with the option to restrict access to specific user groups for added flexibility and security.

I/O Monitor
New in this release
The zactrack server functions as a powerful signal processor, making it crucial to maintain clear visibility of the control flow. To support this, both the app and the Web Monitor now include a comprehensive I/O monitoring tool. This feature provides detailed, real-time insights into incoming and outgoing sACN, Art-Net, OSC, PSN, and tracking data—enabling in-depth analysis and efficient troubleshooting of connection issues. Additionally, monitoring of all individual DMX channel values of a universe is possible for sACN and Art-Net data.

New Navigation in the Web Monitor
New in this release
Navigation in the Web Monitor has been significantly enhanced for greater efficiency and ease of use. The redesigned sidebar now offers direct access to the offline manual and the tablet app downloads, making helpful resources just a click away. Breadcrumbs are now displayed at the top of the main view, providing clearer orientation and faster navigation. To optimize screen space, users can switch to fullscreen mode with a single click. Additionally, the sidebar can be minimized to expand the main view, giving you more room to focus on what matters.

System Maintenance in the Web Monitor
New in this release
Introducing a new, streamlined System Maintenance feature directly integrated into the Web Monitor. This enhancement provides fast access to essential system info, software updates, remote maintenance, power options, and factory reset - all in one place. As with other features, access to these settings is managed through User Management for added security. While the classic System Maintenance panel is still available, please note that it will be phased out in future releases.

Additional Improvements
Performance and layout improvements to the Web Monitor including a new accent color.
Introduced an option to disable pan/tilt edge dimming for a fixture type, making it easier to work with 360° fixtures.

Enhanced PTZ Camera Support
Updated in this release
PTZ camera control received a big update and now supports NDI-based cameras with absolute and relative motion control. Out-of-the-box integration for Canon CR-N300, Panasonic AW-UE100/150 and Sony BRC-X400 is directly accessible. Additionally, zactrack now allows patching of other NDI/VISCA-compatible camera models with enhanced parameter controls to get your equipment on the show.

User Management
New in this release
Teamwork takes center stage. The new release introduces a powerful User Management feature, designed to streamline collaboration and control within the Web Monitor. The intuitive dashboard enables administrators to easily manage user accounts, assign roles, and customize access rights with just a few clicks. Users can securely log in with their individual accounts, ensuring personalized access and enhanced data protection. The feature supports multi-user environments, enabling teams to view and monitor the same show concurrently without interruptions or access conflicts.

Advanced Recording & Playback
Updated in this release
Recording & Playback has been completely revamped, providing users with an improved and streamlined interface to record and playback movement data. Recordings can be grouped together and played back simultaneously with custom Tracker ID mappings to adapt to the current show. File management has been improved as well, giving users more ways to manage their recordings. Recording & Playback is now synced and accessible via both zactrack App and the Web Monitor.

New XYZ Output Fixture Type
Updated in this release
This release introduces the "XYZ Output" fixture type, enabling precise transmission of X, Y, and Z positional data via DMX. This new fixture type replaces the previous "XYZ Mover" and offers enhanced flexibility, including customizable channel resolution, ordering, and coordinate system mapping.

Actor Fallback
New in this release
Be in full control of your show at any time and handle unexpected events with ease. The new Actor Fallback feature allows you to specify additional position inputs with individual priorities to which an Actor's position can switch in case the primary position input is not present. Quickly swap Trackers without the need for a show update, switch to a Proxy, define a fixed position or calibration point or just have the assigned Fixtures point to the last position. This feature introduces a new EXTENDED Actor Control Mode with 10 channels, allowing full control via console and OSC for maximum flexibility. Always have a Plan B. And C. And D.

Improved Web Monitor
New in this release
The web monitor has been updated and comes with a series of great enhancements as well as a fresh look. The visualiser now supports 3D stage view, displaying fixture positions, improved 2D view with grid lines as well as a scene gizmo for quick scene rotation. Additionally, hovering over the sidebar list now highlights the items in the graphical view for better reference.

PTZ Camera Control
New in this release
PTZ camera control is now possible with zactrack. Pan/Tilt control is enabled through the VISCA protocol. Additionally, NDI video streams can be routed to the zactrack App, so you can perform a fixture alignment of the camera using a live video feed. Currently, zactrack supports the Sony BRC-H800, with additional models from different manufacturers being added in future software updates.

Proxy
New in this release
The web monitor's new Proxy feature allows you to manually control virtual trackers via mouse or touch input. A proxy is a virtual tracker indicated by an EUI, that can be assigned to any actor. You can operate more than one Proxy simultaneously using multiple web monitor instances.

Network Protocols Settings
New in this release
Networking protocols such as Art-Net or sACN can now be configured independently in the zactrack App. You can enable/disable input and output, define network interfaces, ports and update rates.

New in this release
The offline manual now also comes in the new version, same as the new portal accessible via manual.zactrack.com. If you have access to the online manual, our new chatbot is available 24/7 to answer your questions. Just click the speech bubble at the bottom right of the page to ask your question.

Remember the "Snake" game on old mobile phones? The new "delayed position" feature enables interesting new effects, e.g. creating a followspot with a "tail" using multiple assigned fixtures.
Improved Server Discovery in the zactrack App: quickly discover zactrack systems in the network and reconnect to known servers using favorites.

We're really excited for the second release of the year as we have prepared some new exciting features for our customers.
We are introducing new trace modes into our Live Mode for diagnostic purposes, added over 300 new fixture types to the fixture library and also implemented CSV Import for a simplified patching import.
Actor Trace Mode
New in this release
Trace Modes are now offered in the Live View. This will help with diagnosing the tracers connection to anchors and how much variance there is in the measurements it is receiving from the anchors.

Max Number of Trace Points - sets how many trace points created by your Actor's movement in the Live View will be used drawn Trace Mode - sets what the trace points created by the Actor will indicate Actor Filter - determines which Actors will create trace points
Actor Color - The default Trace Mode settings. This setting uses the Actors Color to indicate where the actor has moved within the Live View.
Anchors Used - The color of the trace point indicates the number of anchor ranges used in the position calculation.
Green - All connected anchor ranges were used. Red - Only the absolute minimum number of anchor ranges were used. Note
For merged actors, the color of the tracker with the lowest number of anchors ranges is shown.
Range-Position Difference - The color of the trace point shows the difference between the available anchor ranges and the calculated tracker position.

Individual Tracker Positions

When Actors have multiple trackers assigned to them it only shows up as one point in the Live View, creating one Trace Line. However we now have the option for all trackers assigned to Actors to show up as individual points in the Live View.

The CSV file must begin with a mandatory header row. Every other row represents a fixture or actor. Columns are separated by semicolon (;)

The patch for Fixtures and Actors can now be imported via a .csv file. This can be done in a new showfile or merged into an already exisiting showfile.
