Connection 1 (eth0)

The zactrack MINI Server only has 1 Ethernet connection. This is the Lighting/Media port since all of the anchors are communicating 100% wireless. This connection has multiple IP addresses assigned to its Network Port (NIC) for the different protocols. These settings are adjusted in the Network Settings Menu.

For information on how to change these settings go to the Network Settings page.

DMX Port

The DMX Port on the back of the zactrack server can be set to send any universe.

You can see which universe is being sent by looking for the DMX Out Icon next to the universe number.

To change which universe is being sent from the DMX Port:

  1. Go to Show Editor > Universes

  2. Click on the out universe you want to set

  3. Check Enabled next to DMX Out Universe

This is not a check box that can be unchecked. It will be grayed out. The only way to change it to another universe is to go to that universe and enable it. This will consequently disable it on the other universe because only one can be sent from the port.

The following IP ranges are reserved for anchor or internal service communication.

172.24.0.1 - 172.31.255.254

Note

Any IP address within these subnets can NOT be used as an IP address on any Network Port (NIC) of the zactrack server.

This is a list of mandatory open ports required to run a zactrack server. Some ports are only used by a specific product family or on a specific network interface.
